GBRf locomotive 66745 "Modern Railways" is seen delivering new South Western Railways electric multiple unit number 701015 from the works at Litchurch Lane in Derby to Eastleigh as it approaches Addlestone Moor in the rain. The blue van behind the locomotive is Porterbrook Leasing number 6377 and acts as a coupling translator vehicle, having normal buffers and screw coupling at one end and a centre coupling at the other. |

 12th December 2020. GBRf locomotive 66748 "West Burton 50" is seen passing through Esher station on the Up Slow line with train 6G14, carrying sleeper and track fitments from Eastleigh to Merstham in dull light. This is one of three locomotives previously operated by Crossrail Benelux N,V. and imported into Britain on 20th December 2012. These three locomotives were given GBRf fleet numbers 66747, 66748 and 66749. |

 10th December 2020. Class 47 locomotive 47805, running as D1935, approaches Addlestone Moor at the head of a private excursion train "The Brexit Express" from Logon Victoria to Shalford. The day's journey for the passengers on this train were in four sections; Crewe to London Victoria, from there to Shalford, from there to London Victoria and from there back to Crewe. |

 25th November 2020. GBRf locomotive 66790 heads train 5Y48 from Eastleigh to Hoo Junction as it passes Addlestone Moor. This locomotive operated in Norway before moving to operate in Sweden. Later it was shipped to GBRf in Britain, arriving at Immingham Docks before moving to Longport to be prepared for service in Britain. The wagons at the head of the train are type MLA and were built in Poland. |

 9th November 2020. South Western Railways electric multiple unit 707005 passes Addlestone Moor, operating a train from Weybridge to London Waterloo via Virginia Water on this dull day. The reason for taking this photograph is that these units are earmarked to cease operating in this area and to move to services out of London Victoria and London Charing Cross. |

The low sun at this time of year has cast shadows over the scene from the lineside trees. |

 12th October 2020. GBRf locomotive 66738 "Huddersfield Town" hauls train 6X24 from Derby to Eastleigh as it passes Addlestone Moor. The purpose of the train was to deliver brand new EMU number 701011, which can be seen sandwiched between two Railadventure coupling translator vans. |

 27th September 2020. Locomotive 66151 in EWS livery hauls engineering train 6N02 from Barnes to Eastleigh through Esher, returning to its base. The loco was built in Canada, the open wagons in Romania, the hopper wagons in France (and then modified in Britain), the crane in Germany and the crane support wagons in Britain. |

 20th September 2020. Electric multiple unit class 455 number 5859 departs from Esher station and heads towards London Waterloo. This was a test photo, in preparation to photograph a subsequent train, which unfortunately ran so fast that all photos of it displayed movement blur. |
