This train later had EMU 455851 inserted between the barrier vehicles and then proceeded as train 5L55 to Ilford depot. This was the movement that was planned to take place the previous day, but which had been postponed. |

GBRf class 66 diesel-electric locomotive 66731 heads through Teddington station with train 5O55 from Peterborough to Wimbledon, comprising of barrier vehicles number 6376 and 6377 belonging to Porterbrook Leasing. The plan was that an EMU due for maintenance would be inserted between the two barrier vehicles and taken to Ilford depot as train 5L55. However, a last minute hitch prevented this move and the locomotive and barrier vehicles instead travelled on from Wimbledon to Tonbridge West Yard as train 5Z55. |

The location was Coxes Mill, near Addlestone Junction. Bringing up the rear of the train was class 37 diesel-electric locomotive 37516 in West Coast Railway Company maroon livery. |

![]() 6th July 2011. Electro-diesel class 73 locomotive 73138 heads track test train 1Q85 on the Up Fast line at Esher. Sister locomotive 73107 in two-tone grey livery was at the rear. The carriages had departed from the Railway Technical Centre (RTC) at Derby two days before and had stayed overnight in Grove Park depot. The following morning the train worked to Reading and Waterloo before staying overnight in Woking Down Yard. On the day of the photograph the train worked from Woking Yard to Waterloo, then to Southampton, and then was photographed heading for Wimbledon. There were severe disruptions on this line at about the time of the photograph, so it is not known whether the train completed its planned diagram for the day. This would have involved running from Wimbledon to Effingham Junction and from there to an overnight stop at Grove Park depot. |

This locomotive was built by W Bagnall of Stafford as their works number 2820 in 1945. She worked at the Tongaat Sugar Company in South Africa, and was originally named "Egolami", then "Robert Armstrong" and finally "Isibutu". |

This was a train of flat wagons carrying gypsum containers from Mountfield to West Burton Power Station. The Rail Album Webmaster changed trains at Clapham Junction long after this train was due to have passed, so was surprised to then see it in front of him, running late. The photograph had to be taken there and then, as there was no time to even change any settings on the camera.. |
