This selection of photographs represent just a small fraction of the railway images taken by Greg Martin.  They were taken in all weathers and all lighting conditions.  Those images dating from March 2008 onwards were taken using Pentax K110D, Pentax K-x, Pentax K-70, Nikon Coolpix and Sony Cyber-shot cameras.

15th February 2023. Locomotive 37610 heads test train 1Q53 on an Eastleigh to Wimbledon journey as it passes Esher.
    

11th February 2023. Locomotive 50008 hauls excursion train 1Z48 at Claygate,on the Hampton Court to Guildford leg of its journey.

29th December 2022. This cast iron sleeper from the Blaen y Cwm incline in North Wales is in the Rail Album webmaster's railway collection. The rails had ends that were bent downwards at the ends, so they fitted the round holes in the sleeper ends. A similar example from the Penrhyn Quarry is on display in the Penrhyn Castle' railway exhibit.

10th October 2022. Road / rail excavator 99709 940735-2, also carrying the identity RRV 1329 is seen in the station car park at Ewell West. This machine was built by Celmar in 2008 as works number 8216.
    

9th September 2022. Road / rail excavator 99709 940062-4, also carrying the identity RRV 134 is seen in the station car park at Ewell West. This machine was built by Komatsu at the Hanomag works in Germany as works number H58254.
    

8th August 9th September 2022. GBRf diesel locomotives 69005 and 69002" heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield in Sussex to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor.
    

31st July 2022. This unusual railway object is a fishplate from the long-abandoned wooden railway near Llangollen that served the Moel Ferna quarry at Glyndyfrdwy.
    

21st July 2022. GBRf diesel locomotive 69003 heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield in Sussex to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor.
    

19th July 2022. This is what remains of the meter gauge railway swing bridge over the New Cut within in the former Chilworth Gunpowder Works in Surrey. The works closed in 1920 and the site is open to the public,
    

14th July 2022. The blue and white vehicle in this train is Motor Luggage Van 68002 (also known as 931002 and 9002). Beyon is is sister vehicle 68001 (also known as 931001). The train was 5Z63 hauled by 33025 from Southall to Alton and is seen at Addlestone Moor. The vehicles were being moved to the Mid-Hants Railway for display at an event.
    

12th July 2022. Former LMS Black 5 steam locomotive 45231 "The Sherwood Forester" heads train 1Z85 from Chertsey to London Victoria as it passes Addlestone Moor.
    

11th July 2022. GBRf diesel locomotive 69001 "Mayflower" heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield in Sussex to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor.
    

10th June 2022. GBRf locomotive 66706 heads sand train 6Y26 from Newhaven Marine to Woking.
    

8th June 2022. GBRf locomotive 66798 was recently acquired second-hand. It is seen heading train 6Y26 from Newhaven Marine to Woking carrying sand in type Ealnos wagons as is passes Addlestone Moor at Chertsey.
    

27th May 2022. GBRf class 66 locomotives 66731 "Captain Tom Moore" in Tonbridge West Yard.
    

20th May 2022. Road / rail excavator 99709 910023-9 (also numbered RRV 132)  in Ewell West station car park. 
    

13th May 2022. Road / rail excavator 99709 940746-9 (also numbered RRV 128)  in Ewell West station car park was made by Komatsu in Germany in 2008 as works number H55559.
    

20th April 2022. Class 69 locomotives 69004 and 69003 haul train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone.
    

17th April 2022. Road / Rail excavator 99709 940879-8 also numbered RRV 150 was built by Komatsu in Germany as works number H55918 in 2012. It is seen in the car park of Ewell West station.

25th March 2022. Class 69 locomotive 69003 hauls train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone.
    

24th March 2022. The iconic steam locomotive 60103 "Flying Scotsman" heads Steam Dreams excursion 1Z80 from London Victoria to Salisbury. It is seen as it passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone.
    

23rd March 2022. GBRf diesel locomotive 66758 "The Pavior" heads train 4Y19 empty wagons from Mountfield in Kent to Southampton Docks to collect a cargo of imported gypsum. It is seen at Addlestone Moor in Chertsey.
    

22nd March 2022. DB diesel locomotive 66089, still in EWS livery, heads sand train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf in Charlton to Woking. The wagons are owned by leasing company VTG and are type Ealnos vehicles that were built in Poland. The train is seen at Addlestone Moor in Chertsey.
    

10th March 2022. Railway Operating Group's 37884 hauls an EMU out of storage at Ely (Papworth Sidings) to Eastleigh as train identity 5Q87. It is seem at Addlestone Moor in Chertsey.
    

8th March 2022. GBRf locomotive 66976 is seen in train 6Y48 from Eastleigh to Hoo Junction as it passes The Swamp at Byfleet Junction. The wagons behind the locos form a long welded rail set.
    

10th February 2022. GBRf diesel locomotive 66758 "The Pavior" heads train 4Y19 empty wagons from Mountfield in Kent to Southampton Docks. It is seen at Addlestone Moor in Chertsey.

1st January 2022. Class 69 locomotive 69003 is seen at Tonbridge West Yard.
    

13th December 2021. Ex-[Southern Railway steam locomotive 34046 "Braunton" approaches Coxes Mill with train 1Z84 from Chertsey to London Victoria  on this  murky day. 
    

8th December 2021. GBRf diesel locomotive 66794 "Steve Hannnam" heads train 4Y19 empty wagons from Mountfield in Kent to Southampton Docks. It is seen at Addlestone Moor in Chertsey.
    

7th December 2021. Ex-LMS steam locomotive number 44871 heads train 1Q56, a Railway Touring Company excursion from London Victoria to Bristol. It is seen passing Addlestone Moor at Chertsey.
    

5th December 2021. Brush type 2 31165 at the Mangapps Railway in Essex. This was the final locomotive to be overhauled at Stratford depot before its closure on 31st March 1991. During that overhaul it was painted in its original BR livery, numbered D5583, and was named "Stratford Major Depot".
    

1st December 2021. Class 67 locomotive 67021 in Belmond Pullman livery hauls train 1V80 from London Victoria to Bristol as it approaches Esher station with a train made up mostly of Pullman cars.
    

30th November 2021. Black 5 steam locomotive 44871 heads train 1Z56, a Steam Dreams excursion from London Victoria to Bath, as it passes Addlestone Moor at Chertsey. It was built at Crewe Works in 1945 and was originally numbered LMS 4871.
    

1st November 2021. High Speed Milling machine number 99 70 95 27005-1 built by Schweebau in Germany is seen in Tonbridge West Yard.
    

30th October 2021. Class 67 locomotive 67021 in Belmond Pullman livery hauls a train from London Victoria to Basingstoke through Esher station with a train made up mostly of Pullman cars.
    

28th October 2021. This wooden hut at Newhaven is mounted on railway wheels of approximately seven foot gauge. On the river side of the hut it carries a navigation light. An extraordinary piece of railway equipment that may well be unique,
    

12th October 2021. GBRf diesel locomotive 66788 "Locomotion 15" heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor. This locomotive was previously DB 66238.
    

10th September 2021. Steam locomotive 35028 "Clan Line" passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone with a "British Pullman" dining car train made up of Pullman carriages. This was a circular tour originating at London Victoria, which had made a water stop at Chertsey and is seen heading back to London Victoria via Guildford and Redhill.
    

2nd September 2021. DB diesel locomotive 66078 heads sand train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf at Charlton to Woking as it leaves Chertsey and passes Addlestone Moor.
    

1st September 2021. Colas diesel locomotive 37219 heads test train 1Q53 at Esher station, running from Eastleigh to Wimbledon.0 Sister locomotive 37057 is at the rear..
    

30th August 2021. Colas diesel locomotive 37057 heads test train 1Q51 at Addlestone Moor, Chertsey, running from Derby to Eastleigh. Sister locomotive 37219 is at the rear.
    

27th August 2021. Road - rail excavator number 99709 940691-7, also numbered RRV 124, sits in Ewell West station car park, though in a different position to where it was one week before..

17th August 2021. GBRf diesel locomotive 66733 "Cambridge PSB" heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor. 
    

5th August 2021. Jubilee class steam locomotive 45596 "Bahamas" heads excursion train 1Z50 from London Victoria to Weymouth a it passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone.
    

4th August 2021. Colas diesel locomotive 67027 "Charlotte" heads test train 1Q53 through Esher station, running from Eastleigh to Wimbledon, A sister locomotive was at the rear,.

29th July 2021. GBRf diesel locomotive 66766  heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor.
    

23rd July 2021. Preserved former British Railways 2-6-4T steam locomotive 80151 takes on water at Sheffield Park station on the Bluebell Railway. It was built at the relatively nearby Brighton Works in 1957.
    

21st July 2021. GBRf diesel locomotive 66709 "Sorrento" heads train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes Addlestone Moor. Of special note is the mural of a ship on the locomotive's body side.
    

20th July 2021. GBRf electro-diesel locomotive 73109 "Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary" in Tonbridge West Yard.
    

5th July 2021. Steam locomotive 60163 "Tornado" heads train 1Z63 from London Victoria to Bournemouth as it approaches Coxes Mill at  Addlestone with a train composed mostly of Pullman cars.
    

30th June 2021. GBRf locomotive 66793, recently arrived from Sweden (it originally worked in Norway), heads train 6Y19 from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it approaches Addlestone Moor..
    

23rd June 2021. Snow plough ADB 965237, TOPS code ZZA, sits in Tonbridge West Yard, This particular type of snow plough was built in Scotland in the 1850s using the redundant chassis' of ex-LNER V2 locomotive tenders.
    

16th June 2021. GBRf locomotive 66793 heads train 6Y19 from Mountfield to Southampton Docks as it passes The Swamp at Byfleet Junction.
    

15th June 2021. Class 37 locomotive 37407 heads 57311 in DRS livery as train 0Z57 from Carlisle Kingmoor to Eastleigh as it waits at a signal at The Swamp near Byfleet Junction. 57311 will have components removed at Eastleigh and then to be scrapped.
    

14th June 2021. DB locomotive 66023 still in EWS colours train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf (Charlton) to Woking as it passes The Swamp near Byfleet Junction.
    

10th June 2021. Locomotive 66126 in Direct Rail Services livery hauls train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf (Charlton) to Woking at The Swamp near Byfleet Junction.
    

21st May 2021. Iconic steam locomotive 60103 "Flying Scotsman" hauls train 1Z75 from Chertsey to London Victoria as it passes Coxes Mill at Addlestone. This locomotive was built at the London & North Eastern Railway's Doncaster Works, emerging from there on 24th February 1923.
    

27th April 2021. GBRf locomotive 66780 "Cemex Express" in Cemex livery heads train 4Y19 from Mountfield to Southampton Docs as it passes The Swamp and heads to join the main line at Byfleet Junction.
    

22nd April 2021. DB locomotive 66061 in EWS livery heads train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf at Charlton to Woking as it leaves Chertsey and approaches Addlestone Moor footbridge.
    

8th April 2021. GBRf locomotive 66747 "Made in Sheffield"  in Newell & Wright livery hauls train 4Y19 gypsum empties from Mountfield to Southampton Docks. Photographed at Addlestone Moor, Chertsey.
    

29th March 2021. GBRf locomotive 66752 "The Hoopster State" heads train 6X24 from Derby Litchurch Lane to Eastleigh delivering a new class 701 EMU to South Western Railway. The blue carriage behind the loco is a coupling translator vehicle. Photographed at Addlestone Moor, Chertsey.

26th February 2021. Ewell West station building is seen in the sunshine.
    

12th February 2021. L&W road / rail excavator 99709 910054-4 also carried the identity RRV156 when photographed in Ewell West station car park. This machine carried a manufacturer's plate saying it was built by Komatsu in Germany as works number H60267 in 2015 and that it was their type PW160-8.
    

11th February 2021. DB 66047 in maritime livery hauls train 6Y55 from Angerstein Wharf to Woking, carrying sea-dredged sand.. Photographed at Addlestone Moor, Chertsey.

18th January 2021. Railway Operating Group 37601 in phoenix livery at the back end of a train of coupling translator vehicles moving from Wolverton to Bournemouth. Photographed at Addlestone Moor, Chertsey.
    

17th January 2021. Colas tamping machine DR73925 sits in Esher station waiting to be summoned to tamp a newly re-laid piece of track. This machine was built by Plasser & Theurer in Austria as their works number 3026 in 2002.
    

16th December 2020. GBRf locomotive 66745 "Modern Railways" is seen delivering new South Western Railways electric multiple unit number 701015 from the works at Litchurch Lane in Derby to Eastleigh as it approaches Addlestone Moor in the rain.

The blue van behind the locomotive is Porterbrook Leasing number 6377 and acts as a coupling translator vehicle, having normal buffers and screw coupling at one end and a centre coupling at the other.

    

15th January 2021. Road / rail tracked excavator 99709 911849-8 also carried the identity 244 when photographed in Esher station car park. The markings indicated it was a type 135SR machine.
