26th December 2018. Coal tax post number 155 by a bus stop on Brighton Road at Kingswood in Surrey.
    

13th December 2018. Coxes Mill at Addlestone was once where iron was smelted and the impurities removed while hot by a heavy hammer driven by a waterwheel. Later the complex was enlarged and flour was milled, the machinery being driven by waterwheel, and then by water turbine. There is a mill pond out of view behind the camera that is fed by a spring.
    

2nd November 2018. Coal tax post number 144 beside a golf course on Burgh Heath  in Surrey.
  

25th September 2018. The Inglis Monument on Colley Hill in Surrey. The words around the structure read:

13th September 2018. Wooden framed building on The Broadway at Cheam in Surrey,
    

28th August 2018. The monument  by the entrance to Nonsuch Park on Ewell Road at Cheam in Surrey.
        

25th August 2018. Coal tax post number 103 on Lower Green Road at Esher in Surrey.
      

18th August 2019. Ightham Mote at Ivy Hatch, Sevenoaks in Kent is a medieval moated manor house. Parts of the structure date from the mid-1300s. It is under the care of the National Trust.
  

14th August 2019. Coal Tax Post number 88 beside Thames Side at Chertsey in Surrey.
      

11th August 2019. Swans at Truss Island on the River Thames at Egham Thorpe in Surrey.
      

8th August 2019. This traction engine was in the car park of the Kent & East Sussex Railway at Tenterden in Kent. It was built by Charles Burrell & Sons of Thetford in Norfolk.
      

30th July 2018. Sluice on the River Mole at East Molesey in Surrey.
      

14th July 2018. A preserved Worthing Motor Services bus at the Chalk Pits Museum at Amberley in Sussex.
  

23rd June 2018. Jane Austen's House at Chawton in Hampshire is now preserved as a museum to this prolific writer.
     

17th June 2018. This old horse-drawn hand crane stood close to industrial premises at Salfords in Surrey. The maker's name is embossed on the counterweight box:

20th April 2018. View from the car park on Grandstand Road at Epsom in Surrey.
      

21st March 2018. Building in Parvis Wharf boat yard on the River Wey Navigation at Byfleet in Surrey. It is thought to have originally housed a watermill.
          

14th March 2018. Narrow boat "Shottermill" approaches the lifting sling at Parvis Wharf on the River Wey Navigation at Byfleet.
          

11th March 2018. Timber framed building on Slipshoe Street at Reigate in Surrey.
      

2nd  February 2018. Wray Common Windmill at Reigate in Surrey.
      

1st February 2018. St Peter's Church on Walton Road at West Molesey in Surrey.  The tower dates from the 1400s.
           

7th January 2018. This De Havilland Heron was photographed outside the control tower of the former Croydon Airport on Purley Way, Croydon. Walking underneath it is a somewhat unusual experience.
           

6th January 2018. Wood framed building at Leatherhead in the evening.
