1st December 2016. The plaque on this stone beside the library at Weighbridge in Surrey reads:
THE DIALSTONE FROM THE COLUMN
FORMERLY STANDING IN SEVEN DIALS LONDON.
THE COLUMN WAS RE-ERECTED ON
MONUMENT GREEN IN 1822 AS A MEMORIAL TO THE
DUCHESS OF YORK

19th November 2016. This is all that seems to remain after a fire destroyed a timber building that was a flour mill in Ewell. The photo shows the former location of an undershot waterwheel. It is known to some local inhabitants as The Waterfall.

19th October 2016. A "No Fishing" sign at Byfleet in Surrey.

28th September 2016. A deer in Richmond Park.

13th September 2016. A cottage on the High Street of West Molesey in Surrey.

16th August 2016. This stone pillar and another near where a path crosses in the distance mark the extent of what was once King Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace. Today this location is part of Nonsuch Park at Cheam in Surrey.

11th August 2016. Mechanism over the well at Abinger in Surrey.

23rd July 2016. An  old car at Ripley in Surrey.

10th July 2016. This splendid old car on show at Clandon in Surrey was made by Automobiles Gregoire at Poissy  in France.

9th July 2016. The Royal Oak pub on Walton Road at East Molesey in Surrey.

5th July 2016. Narrow boat "Rundlestone" moored at Pelican Wharf on the River Wey Navigation at Addlestone in Surrey.

19th June 2016. A view of the waterwheel at Merton Abbey Mill in Surrey.

18th June 2016. A windmill at Polegate in Sussex.

12th June 2016. Cobham Mill in Surrey was at one time two buildings with two watewheels between them. A disused waterwheel pit can be seen adjacent to the surviving waterwheel. The missing building was demolished in order to widen the road.

15th April 2016. This stone used to mark the border between East and West Molesey in Surrey. However, it was a driving hazard, as it was both fairly tall and close to the road. The solution was to move it from its former location and to bury most of it, leaving just a small section of the stone above ground level.

20th March 2016. A part of the River Ember at East Molesey in Surrey, thought by some to have once been the site of a watermill.

12th March 2016. The Dog Gate at Bourne Hall at Ewell in Surrey.

6th March 2016. Reigate Tunnel looking north. This was built as a toll road on the route linking London and Brighton.

23rd February 2016. The foundation stone of what was originally the Chelsea Hospital for Women on the Fulham Road in London.

13th February 2016. All Saints Church at Banstead in Surrey.
