The view of the works from outside the main gate by the level crossing on Rushenden Road. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

Inside the works were two 0-6-0 diesel-hydraulic locomotives built by Andrew Barclay in 1966. The red loco is "871" and the blue loco is "873" "John Boy". Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

East of the main shed the track becomes single line and there is a siding into one of the buildings. This is the scene looking back towards the main shed. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

The same spot as the above photograph, but facing east. The siding into the shed is hidden by a carpet of grass on the left. The line ahead splits into a loop curving to the left of the tree and the lineside cabin. At one time there was another line to the right of the trees, the route of which can clearly be seen. These two routes and the sidings on the far side of the trees formed a triangle. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

Continuing east from the last photograph, the two lines from the main shed run parallel to the other siding as they curve towards  the exchange sidings. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

Looking back from the same spot as the previous photograph. 3rd September 2013.

A further siding joins from the left about half way round the curve to the exchange sidings. The internal use bogie wagons are ell ex-BR. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

Looking back towards the main works, the two lines on the left are from the main shed, the third line is a siding and a fourth line can just be seen coming out of the shed on the right. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

The same four tracks as in the above photograph. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.

A string of ex-BR wagons sits on the curve towards the exchange sidings. Photograph dated 3rd September 2013.
