Locomotive 31459 heads three coach test train 4Q10 westwards through Hersham station as the light was failing on the evening of 7th July 2008.  The train was running from Selhurst depot to Salisbury.  Locomotive 31602 is at the rear.

The first vehicle in the train was generator van 6262.

The second vehicle in the train was coach 999605.

The third vehicle in the train was staff and generator coach 977969, formerly number 2906.

Bringing up the rear was locomotive 31602.

Locomotive 31602 runs through the Down platform at Hersham station.

Train 4Q10 leaves Hersham and heads for Salisbury on the Sown slow line as the light fails.
