GWR 4575 Class 2-6-2T Locomotives

GWR 4500 class 2-6-2T number 5542 at Toddington on the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway 26th September 2007.
  
     
  The 4575 class 2-6-2Ts were designed by Charles Collett as a development of the earlier GWR 5100 class 2-6-2Ts by George Jackson Churchward.  They were built by the GWR at their Swindon works from 1927 to 1929. The last examples were withdrawn in December 1964.
