GWR Hall class 4-6-0 4985 "Allesley Hall" at Princess Risborough in April 1948.
The train is the 4.15 pm from Paddington to Oxford.
  
     
  The Hall class 4-6-0s were designed under the leadership of the Great Western Railway's Chief Mechanical Engineer, Charles Collett.  They were officially known as the 4900 class and were introduced to traffic in 1928.
