As Switzerland is a multi-lingual country the company also had
names in French and Italian.
The company's name in French was ETRA Société de Moyens de
Transport ferroviaire SA, and in Italian it was ETRA Società di
Mezzi di Trasporto ferroviario SA.
On 10th July 2006 the company was merged into VTG Schweiz AG. |

at Dover on 28th November 1993. It was ETRA fleet number 907.
This photograph was taken in a confined space between vehicles and the
cobbles indicate that this part of the yard was previously the site of the Southern Railway's
Dover steam locomotive depot. This had been one of the pit roads.
