The Down line had been lifted for a distance of 90 chains. The train in this view is 6N05 which had brought fresh ballast to site from Eastleigh. ![]() 66126 hauled train 6N06 which brought new concrete sleepers to site from Eastleigh. This had run as a normal train under the control of the signalmen until it reached Byfleet Junction, from where it was controlled by the engineers. ![]() EWS locomotive 66126 has passed under the Addlestone Moor footbridge, the reflection of which can be seen in the locomotive's rear window, and is about to come to a halt behind the previous train.
