These two steam locomotive were stored just outside of Trieste station in Italy in 1980. It is thought that these locomotives were being stored pending the opening of a railway museum at Trieste. The photographs were taken from a passing Simplon Orient Express train, so are not the best quality. 
A class 835 0-6-0T at Trieste in 1980. There are thought to have been three locomotives of this type in storage at Trieste, numbers 231, 251 and 254. A second class 835 steam locomotive can be seen on the next rack.
