Elvedon War Memorial. 22nd December 2008.
  
     
 

The Elvedon War Memorial in Suffolk wasdesigned by Clyde Young and is dedicated to the fallen of the three villages of Elvedon, Eniswell and Icklingham. It is formed of a Corinthian column of Weldon Stone topped with a vase of Portland Stone and is reported to be 127 feet high. It took two years to build. The location is adjacent to the A11 road at Weather Heath near Thetford.
