An unidentified barge entering Coxes Lock from the Weybridge direction. 26th September 2009.

The same unidentified barge leaving Coxes Lock at the Woking end. The building in the background is one of the cluster forming Coxes Mill, with its canal-side wharf that was once used for grain shipments. 26th September 2009.

The sluice at Coxes Mill, taking the overflow water from the mill pond down to the canal. The tethering posts on the canal bank are for vessels waiting to pass through Coxes Lock, which is out of view to the right. 10th October 2007.

The patio area appears to have once been the location of one of the water wheels on this site, The evidence for this is that hidden by the weeds in the mill pond is an inlet taking water under what is now the patio. The thicker part of the wall indicates that it needed to be more substantial at that point, for instance to support the axle of a waterwheel.
