Chertsey Bridge

 
 

Chertsey Bridge from Dumsey Meadow 20th December 2007. 
  
     
  The historic town of Chertsey lies in the north of Surrey.  Chertsey Bridge takes the B375 road across the River Thames to the east of the town.  The site of the former Chertsey Abbey at the other end of the town.

There is a preserved coal post by the entrance to the car park at the eastern end of the bridge.
