"Lilla" Hunslet Engine Company 554 of 1891

Rail Album for railway and other photographs

The Hunslet Engine Company of Leeds built a number of similar 0-4-0ST narrow gauge locomotives, primarily for the owners of North Wales slate quarries.  The largest customers for these were Dinorwic Quarry at Llanberis and Penrhyn Quarry at Bethesda.  A number of these locomotives survive in preservation.
