View of the Channel Tunnel Cheriton terminal site during construction. In the foreground locomotive 63 ex-Tyne & Wear Metro is coupled to a train made of three grey coloured Procor type PFA British private owner wagons (previously used by Cobra) and white wagons that are believed to be ex-German. A dark blue ex-German type V100 locomotive stands outside the shed. The railway on the embankment in the distance is the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. Out of view to the left is Dollands Moor yard and the remainder of the BR network. Out of view to the right is the tunnel entrance. 16th February 1992.
