EWS locomotive 66089 moves train 6N05 into Chertsey station ready to be unloaded.
 
 

EWS wagon 503512 of TOPS type MLA is moved slowly into the station area to be unloaded. 
 
 

A view of the Guildford Street level crossing site.  An excavator unloads ballast from ann MLA wagon, while beyond it a bulldozer waits to level the ballast.

An excavator unloads new ballast between the platforms of Chertsey station. The dust has not yet settled from the previous bucket full.  
  
 

A bulldozer has been loaded onto private owner wagon VTG 95610, TOPS code KWA, for the journey back to Eastleigh.  Sitting on the ballast are a pair of vibrating ballast tampers and a set of three of them.
  

 

More new ballast is unloaded between Chertsey station platforms from a TOPS code MLA wagon.
