	The Stratford & Moreton Railway is covered in the book The Shipston-on-Stour Branch, as this GWR branch line was built upon part of the former horse-worked Stratford & Moreton Railway. Detailed track plans of the canal basin area at Stratford are included, plus other maps, photographs and history of the line. Both the GWR Shipston-on-Stour branch and the earlier Stratford & Moreton line are covered.

Further out from Stratford the line runs in a cutting, with a magnificent bridge carrying a road over the line.

At Newbold Wharf the railway used to run along the line of the trees alongside the Shipston Road, then behind the buildings in the foreground. Photograph taken looking towards Stratford. 11th October 2008.

The cottages at Newbold Wharf. The line ran behind these buildings. As the railway was owned by a canal company they used the canal term wharf instead of goods yard. 11th October 2008.
